FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How did you get my information?

We are licensed to conduct our asset recovery services in most states in the U.S. These credentials allow us to access private ledgers and statewide databases where detailed information is available to asset recovery professionals.

Why hasn't the government returned my funds to me?

State and federal agencies collectively hold more than $58 billion of unreturned monies. The divisions that handle these cases are not equipped with the amount of staff required to locate every owner of each account to return his or her funds. Citizens address changes, changes in employment, and name changes also effect the recovery process.

What is this going to cost me?

It varies, but typically our commission is 10% of the full recovery amount. Each case is different based on the complexity of its claim. however. We work on contingency, which means that we don't get paid until you get paid. No upfront or hidden costs!

Can't I do this myself?

Yes you can - however, due to the complexity of the filing process, a large majority of claims submitted without  representation are rejected due to improper documentation and inadequate proof of ownership. The claims process can also be time consuming. At no upfront cost to you, we take care of the legalities and paperwork so that you can make the most of your time while waiting for your payment.

How will I be paid?

Funds are disbursed by check or ACH deposit, depending on which government entity is responsible for your payment.

How long does it take to get paid?

It varies. In some states, straightforward claims can take as little as 7-10 business days. In others states, 8-12 weeks is average. More complex claims involving multiple owners or heirs can take up to 2+ years. Contact us and we can provide an estimated time frame based on the specifics of your case.
